Cirque Wonderland Studios is proud to present the Cirque Spring Student Showcase. Gather the whole family and come out on Saturday, April 18 at 5 PM to enjoy this feat of acrobatic storytelling. Guided Tours Of The Jordan House Museum
For an educational and more local experience, head out to the Jordan House for a guided tour of the museum. During the tour you’ll learn all about the 1831 legend of the escaped slave and how he used the Underground Railroad to find his freedom. Guided tours are held on Fridays and Sundays at 11 AM and 1 PM. This is a great way to keep your children’s minds engaged and expand their understanding of our national history.
Tinker Bell At The Des Moines Community Play House
Who doesn’t love Tinker Bell? The old and the young alike adore the fun story of everyone’s favorite sassy a little fairy. This spring you can come out to the Des Moines community Playhouse for their rendition of Tinker Bell. Your kids are sure to be enchanted with the live performance earning you major cool-parent brownie points.
Pony Express Ride Day
Come on out and join the Pony Express Riders of Iowa while they distribute the donations that they have collected throughout the year. Watch as your kids’ eyes light up at the more than 200 horses riders and wagons that will be trotting into camp. If you have a horse lover in your family this event is sure to be a major hit!
