Summerset Winery
Just a few minute’s drive outside of Des Moines, located in Indianola, is where you will find the stunning Summerset winery. Here they produce award winning Iowa wine from locally grown central Iowa groups. Tastings and tours are offered frequently so you have plenty of chances to take in the natural splendor of this beautiful site. In fact, it is so beautiful here that this has become one of the most popular wedding venues in the area.
La Vida Loca Winery
This family-owned winery is well known for its award-winning and rather creative wines. Anytime that you are in search of a fine glass of wine this is the perfect oasis away from the stresses of the city. You can taste and sample all of their wines throughout their regular hours from Tuesday through Sunday and make sure to bring home bottles of your favorites before they are no longer available.
